It's #friendorfriday! I think I just made that up, but I like it so let's go with it. Let me introduce you to Nitina Francis, the owner of BurgundyGinger Events.
Nitina and I first met in 2009, when her sister Zena came to me for her senior pictures. She brought her two lovely sisters Nitina and Nadja to the studio with her because she loved them so much and wanted them to be in her pictures with her. And ever since then they have been my favorite sister trio. They also help Nitina at her events. Sisterly Love at it's finest!!
After that, Nitina's then boyfriend Jamaal contacted me to photograph his surprise proposal to her at the Wexner Center for the Arts. (Her sisters were in on that of course!) Following I had the privilege of shooting their engagement photos and then their wedding, which Nitina designed herself. I proudly refer her to my clients and she does the same for me. She is definitely one of my favorite Friendors.
Comfort: Nitina!! Tell us about BurgundyGinger Events.
Nitina: BurgundyGinger Events is an Event Planning and Event Design company based here in Columbus. We specialize in taking event to an unforgettable place. Month of Coordination and having the opportunity to design an event are 2 of our favorite services.
Comfort: Why is it important for clients to book an event planner/designer?
Nitina: I admit, I am a little biased, but hiring an event planner/designer is an essential part of having the best possible experience for your wedding or event. Hiring an event planner/designer allows you the relish in your special moment by entrusting the right person/team with executing the vision of your day. I pride myself in looking at and looking for the details that easily missed to ensure the day starts on time, runs smoothly and filled with a lifetime of memories.
Comfort: What makes BurgundyGinger different from other event companies?
Nitina: The Event Planning and Design space here in Columbus is filled with the most talented vendors. Much like there is a perfect person for everyone, there is a perfect planner for every event. I know that wasn't a pub, but I believe in the right fit, not just the perfect event.
Comfort: What is your favorite wedding trend for 2019?
Nitina: My favorite wedding trend for 2019 is the use of geometric shapes throughout the wedding. Circular or hexagon arches, oblong bouquets, and even circular cake displays. We love the subtle statements that this can make for a wedding without breaking the bank.
Comfort: What are three fun or random facts about you?
Nitina: I love sports almost as much as I love weddings and events. We can talk sports all day!I love to dance! You can find me at the dance floor at almost every event I work. I studied to be an ambassador while in undergrad majoring in International Business
A Quote from Nitina: "Life's an event! Enjoy it!"
